Bridal Shower

Jenna will be getting married in less than a week ... here are some pictures of the bridal shower today in her honor.

Courtney asked her to answer about 10 questions the same way Zach did when she asked them to him. For every question she got wrong she had to chew one piece of bubble gum.  I think her final count of wrappers was 7 ... not so hot Jen!! lol

than we played "dress the bride" ... we had some creative ladies in the rooms - but of course Jenna's dress won.

June is here already???

wow how time flies much faster as I get older.  We've been keeping busy with different things but also as I get older I forget many of them    In the last couple months we've been to a birthday party, 2 bridal showers, a wedding, and three graduations open houses, and don't forget the numerous baseball and softball games (which I have no photos of).  I do have some photos of misc things that I'll share:

After they fell off the horse we went back to the house and aunt Bev and I entertained Ava and Drake with some bubbles - for some reason they wanted to catch them with their mouths.??? goofy kids!

Then uncle Larry took Megan down to their pond and let her catch and take home 3 tadpoles, made her arm feel so much better!

Well that's about all for now .... I have Wednesday and Friday off this week so hopefully I can get some things done around the house.   I sent 10 bags of stuff with the DAV today so I can see the floor in the basement again.

Hi everyone.  Just wanted to let you know that my dad is back in the hospital.  Mom took him in this morning because he couldn't catch his breath and the heart doctor wants to monitor him at least overnight.  They did discover he has lots of extra fluid (in his upper body, his knee is fine) so they are giving him some meds to help him get rid of it.  I took his knee machine up to him so he could continue his knee therapy on the heart floor.   He seems to be in good spirits but please continue to keep him in your prayers.

Quick Note

Hi all.  this is just a quick note to let you know that my dad had knee replacement surgery today and everything went well.  He is in Mercy Hospital, and will be there for a few days of rehab, and home Thursday, I think??  That was the plan today... but we'll see what happens.  He got to his room about 10:30am and was already tired of laying around in the bed by noon.  Please keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery.
